This value specifies the modulation type for some cards. Currently, this value is only used for EM4205 cards.

Name Type/Size Description
Mod Enumeration (8 bits) Values:
  • ModManchester (0x10)
    Reader scans only for cards with Manchester coding.
  • ModBiphase (0x20)
    Reader scans only for cards with Biphase coding.
  • ModNRZ (0x30)
    Reader scans only PSK cards with NRZ coding (Indala).
  • ModHID (0x50)
    Reader scans for cards with HID prox decoding
