Protocols / Network / LinkLocalAcquireDelay Value
This configuration value has been deprecated. Do not use it in new code as we may remove it in the future.
Specifies the delay of the Link-Local address acquirement
at startup of the reader in case of Link-Local auto mode
(refer to
LinkLocalMode).
To avoid excessive network traffic at startup the Firmware supports the following mechanism: A Link-Local address is only acquired with an initial delay. In case the reader gets an IP address from a DHCP server within this time, it won't request a link-local address any more as this address is only required if no other addressing mechanism is available.
The delay should be chosen large enough to ensure that the reader is able to retrieve a DHCP address in case a DHCP server is available.
