VhlCfg / File / ForceCardSM Value
Forces a minimum secure messaging (SM) level for the communication between a Secure Access Module (SAM) and the card, typically in high-security environments.
- If this value is not set, the hightest SM level supported by both the SAM and the card is used.
- If this value is set, the minimum SM level specified must always be maintained. If either the SAM or the card does not support this level, communication between them is not possible.
