Activate the Mobile ID app

Once a user has received their invitation e-mail, they can activate the app.

Each invitation is valid for 7 days and can be used for 1 phone.

To activate the app:

1. Download the app.
   To do so, scan the 1^st QR code in the invitation e-mail with the phone's camera.

   QR codes are missing in my e-mail.

   Please explicitly allow pictures to be displayed, or try a different e-mail client.

2. In the app, tap Scan QR code and scan the 2^nd QR code in the invitation e-mail.
   To do so, you need to allow Mobile ID to access the camera.

   

3. Allow the app to use Bluetooth.
   Without Bluetooth, the app cannot be recognized by card readers and will not work. If Bluetooth is disabled on your phone, you'll find instructions in the app on how to enable it.

   

4. As an option, allow the app to send you notifications. You'll only be notified if your permissions to use the app have been revoked (i.e. you've been deleted by the administrator.)

   

5. Done! You'll now see the Active screen, and you're ready to use your phone to interact with readers.
